about me

i am a wife, mother, teacher, and most importantly, follower of christ.  i love to create things and get a lil' crafty!  i teach 5th grade part time and have found certain years to me more stressful than others.  it has actually been through these difficult times that i have found the most joy (and stress relief) in creating.  i recently began going through a study of the "proverbs 31 woman."  she is this amazing woman who loves her family and most importantly, her lord, and desires to serve and help provide for her family and servants.  i have found so much encouragement through reading these verses and have truly set out to be a better wife, mother, teacher, etc.  this is where the name of my creations was born:  wool and flax creations.  verse 13 reads, "she seeks wool and flax and willingly works with her hands."  how appropriate a verse for someone like me, who likes to create.
i owe a huge thank you to my wonderful and supportive husband, who has encouraged me all the way (he really is my #1 fan).  i also love my two beautiful daughters for allowing me to pin these hair clips in their hair to model for me.
